Ease of orientation
and accessibility are now the hallmarks of Christ Episcopal Church’s main
entry, where once there was confusion and numerous changes of grade. DDA’s
design for the Church’s Rosemary Street frontage complements reconfiguration
of the Parish Hall interior by providing a suspended bridge to a new entry
level and beyond that, a quiet garden terrace framed by stone seat walls
and plantings. Parishioners arrive now via the garden and bridge, with
those disabled coming from new designated handicapped parking spots nearby. |
